Find official drone-racing event information and separate confirmed schedules, results, broadcasts and replay footage.

Begin with the organizer

Search engines and social platforms make drone-racing clips easy to find, but the first search result may not tell you whether an event is current. Start with the competition organizer’s website. A credible listing should identify the event name, date, host or governing organization, class, location or online format and the rules being used. FAI publishes World Cup information and competition documents; MultiGP publishes event-specific formats; DCL publishes league updates and media. Their pages have different roles. [F3][M1][D1]

A schedule is not a result

An announcement that an event is planned does not establish it took place as described. Dates can move, classes can be revised and eligibility rules can change. FAI’s 2026 World Cup page distinguishes planned competition information from ranking and results documents. For a reader, that separation is essential: label upcoming events with a checked date, and only call a finishing order official after locating the organizer’s results. [F3]

Where a broadcast may appear

An event’s official website or verified social channels may identify livestream links, highlight videos or replay libraries. A full live feed differs from a clip assembled after the event, and a simulator screen recording differs from footage of aircraft flying at a venue. Before embedding any media, confirm who published it, the event year and whether you have permission to reuse the recording or imagery. Linking to the rights holder is usually clearer than downloading and republishing without authorization. [D1]

Understand different competition bodies

FAI documents international air-sport classes and sanctioning information. MultiGP’s chapter and event ecosystem offers formats for many types of competition, including different classes inside one gathering. DCL has its own league storytelling and simulator-related content. Avoid treating those three organizations as interchangeable or combining their scoreboards. A guide should explain which body owns which claim, which rules apply and when the cited page was last checked. [F1][M1][D1]

A five-point source check

Before you share an event link, verify the exact title, year, race format, official organizer and live-versus-replay status. For results, add a sixth check: the official classification or ranking document. If a site advertises betting on an event, that claim requires separate dated operator and jurisdiction evidence; an event calendar alone says nothing about whether an open wagering market exists. Dronegamble is an informational publication, not a sportsbook, and does not accept bets. [F3][F5]

What to do when a page is old

An archive is still useful, provided its age is visible. Keep a published date next to the event title, identify the competition edition and point to any later update rather than deleting history. A promotional article from an earlier year can explain a league's culture, while the current organizer calendar is better suited to planning a visit. If the official event page disappears, record that limitation and avoid reconstructing a schedule from unrelated social comments. [F3][D1]

Building a dependable viewing list

Make a short personal list with organizer, series, physical-or-virtual format, official site, broadcast location, event date and last checked date. Leave the stream field blank until a verified broadcast link exists. This is more honest than displaying a countdown to an unsupported livestream. For readers, it also creates a reusable way to navigate events without relying on a constantly updated but unverified listings feed. [F3][F4]
